Monday July 18th- Wedding Day!!!
Dad Schroeder and Cindy woke Nate up early to go fishing with Nat at Mirror Lake. The rest of us wanted to sleep in. The guys headed to Mirror Lake again, and, after many tries, Nate finally caught his first wild Rainbow Trout!!
We then showered in the campground and dressed for the wedding in the tent. I wish we had a picture of Nate putting his Tux on in the tent. Pretty funny, but luckily we managed to stay clean and crisply ironed. We then headed to the Ahwahnee Hotel to meet up with the Bridal party for pictures. Lauren was a stunning bride and Bryan cleaned up pretty darn good as well!

With the Ceremony at the Yosemite Chapel on the other side of the park, we all piled into the cars and managed to park in the Chapel parking lot with help from Uncle Tim who played the bodyguard/traffic cop part very well.
Their ceremony was short and sweet and full of love as they said their vows to each other. I think Bryan made every woman in the room cry with his adorably loving words. Nate might have even teared up, but maybe he just had something in his eye ;)

Due to some technical difficulty and errors on our part, we lost a few photos from right after the wedding. But trust us, the view outside the chapel was amazing! You walk out and see the Yosemite Falls right across the valley!
The reception was immediately afterward at the Ahwahnee Hotel. The Ahwahnee is a historic hotel in the Yosemite Valley built in the 1920's. It was a gorgeous location, overlooking the stone cliffs and waterfalls of the park. Seriously, the Queen has stayed there. We loved the Italian Soda bar and the beautiful fireplace. The fireplace had to be 15 feet across and 7 feet high. I've never seen such a huge fireplace in my life.
Here are a few of our favorites from the reception:
